Specially formulated solvent base penetrates the microscopic imperfections of the surface metal to loosen and lift out layers of burnt-in residue without etching the metal. Unique blend of bonding agents, corrosion inhibitors, and surfactants condition and protect the metal to help repel future fouling buildup. Elite products are non-toxic, non-flammable, and biodegradable. Elite Gun Cleaner removes carbon, powder, and metal bullet fouling. Conditions surface metal so oils and lubricants can penetrate at the molecular level. Works well as a soaking agent or with brushes. (Will remove oil-based stock finishes.)
