CNC-machined base spreads recoil to help keep scopes, even
heavy ones, on the gun, and, precisely zeroed from shot to shot.
Angled screw wedges against the receiver opening to provide
another recoil lug to divert recoil away from the base and
mounting screws. Tolerances for straightness and flatness are
held within .002" to create a solid platform for your optics.
Bedding-compound inletting on mount bottom helps you get a
perfect, base-to-receiver fit. Self-centering Torx®
screws help prevent slipping during use. Accepts Picatinny and Weaver-style
rings. Available with or without 20 minutes of elevation (MOA).
SPECS: Steel, black-oxide finish. Length approximately equal to
action length, 9/16" (1.4mm) high. Savage Round Top fits models
with AccuTrigger. Recoil lug screw is ¼"-28, mounting
screws are 6-48.
