Features a textured black finish, Pachmayr recoil pad and sling swivels; checkering on some models. Browning A-Bolt features an aluminum pillar system instead of bedding block. Weatherby has a raised, Monte Carlo cheekpiece. Remington 1000 Medalist model fits the heavy barrel Remington model short action 700 BDL.
