Rigid, steel triggerguard with hinged floorplate is machined from a single billet of pre-hardened steel to meet strict military tolerances for ultimate smoothness, reliability, and toughness. Wide, oversize triggerguard bow protects the trigger shoe and provides added clearance for tactical gloves. Ultra-smooth floorplate hinge provides rapid unloading in the field; recessed latch prevents accidental opening. Extra thick, front and rear tangs offer improved stabilization of the receiver and allow a recessed fit of the included socket head action screws. Sides of triggerguard are machined with a 5° draft angle for easier fitting and repeatability. Non-glare, Mil-Spec phosphate finish helps resist corrosion and abrasion. Available for short (SA) and long action (LA) Remington 700 series stocks inletted for hinged floorplates. Minor fitting required.
