Ready-to-install barrel converts your AR-15 to the far-reaching, flat-shooting, hard-hitting, 6.5 Grendel® caliber. Fits a standard, mil-spec upper receiver, and comes with a pre-installed barrel extension and matching, complete bolt assembly that replaces the factory .223/5.56mm bolt in your rifle’s carrier. Requires a mid-length gas system and forearm (not included). Standard model has an M4 contour and comes in stainless or phosphate-finished chrome-moly steel. Stainless steel Medium Weight barrel has six flutes and tapers from .980" O.D. at the barrel extension to .845" O.D. behind the gas port to provide extra rigidity and outstanding heat-dissipating properties for superior accuracy. Both models are threaded for 9⁄16"-24 tpi muzzle accessories.
