Machined aluminum mount with integral rings securely attaches a 30mm optic to a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny receiver rail. Slight forward offset is ideal for use with long eye relief scopes. Easy-to-grasp knurled thumb screws tighten the clamping bar to the rail, and allow easy removal and reinstallation without losing the optic’s settings. Ring top strap has an S-curved edge that locks in one side of the bottom half, with steel Allen head screws securing the other side for an ultra-tight hold that resists the recoil of rapid-fire tactical weapons. Retract the spring-loaded recoil lug by pulling up on the knurled tabs, so the mount slides easily on or off the rail. Mk I uses a single thumb screw to tighten the 1¼" long clamping bar against the receiver rail. For an even more secure grip, the Mk II uses two thumb screws and a full-length 4½" clamping bar, while wider rings ensure maximum purchase on the scope body to prevent recoil slippage.
