Kink To Install An Adjustable Comb

I make a fixture by cutting a 16” x7” x1/2” plywood base and gluing a 2.5” x 7” piece of hardwood square to the plywood. I then use a recoil pad to mark two screw holes and drill them. I then mount the stock to the small block using the pad holes on the stock. Mask the area to be cut, mark the cut lines on the tape, and then cut the stock and fixture (the first time) on my band saw with a 1/4 inch blade. The head of the stock is supported with shims to make sure everything remains square. It is now a sand, inlet and finish job.
