Scope Alignment

My little tidbit is this. I've taken the Brownells sleeved scope alignment tool to a machinist and had him drill a 0.250" hole dead center in the longer of the two inserts. When aligning dovetail type rings, I put a laser bore sighter in the muzzle, one in the alignment tool. After leveling the rifle with the EXD Engineering Verticle Leveling Instrument I can align the bore with the scope rings. |

| On the wall I have a Red Star Target Company target set up level. It has been leveled with a plumb line. The Red Star target has vertical and horizontal lines every 1". This aids in lining up the laser dots. |
