COLT ARMORER CLASSES

M16/AR15 ARMORER - The M16 course includes the M16 family of weapons, the M16 and all its variants including the M4, the AR15 and all it’s variants and the 9mm Sub-machinegun. Course length is 24 class hours over 3 days with no shooting included. Course Description: This course covers design, theory, compatibility, disassembly, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting for the Law Enforcement Armorer.
DATE: July 12th – 14th, 2010

M1911 PISTOL ARMORER - The .45 course includes series 70, series 80, 1911 and it’s variants including the 1991. The course is 16 class hours over 2 days with no shooting included. Course Description: This course covers design, theory, compatibility, disassembly, assembly, parts fitting, trigger pull adjustments, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Law Enforcement Pistol Armorer.

Abstract
Each class was developed to give law enforcement personnel a broad based understanding of specific Colt firearms, their law enforcement application, and the knowledge necessary to keep these weapons operational under all conditions.

Restrictions
This is a 3-year factory certification and enrollment is restricted to ACTIVE LAW ENFORCEMENT, MILITARY, CORRECTIONS AND NUCLEAR SECURITY.

Remington 870 Class - August 23 & 24, 2010

Abstract
The Remington armorer classes for the 870, 11-87, and for the 700 offers in-depth training on service, repair, troubleshooting, disassembly and reassembly of law enforcement 870 and 11-87 shotguns, and the 700 rifle. The classes will offer everything you will need to keep your Remington firearms in peak working order at all times.

Restrictions
This is a 3-year factory certification and enrollment is limited to Law Enforcement, Government, or Military personnel only. EACH STUDENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING THEIR OWN LAW ENFORCEMENT FIREARM FOR EITHER CLASS.

GLOCK ARMORER CLASS

*Glock armorer course is open to Law Enforcement personnel and certified Glock stocking dealers only.

Abstract:
Course will include:

  • Function of safeties
  • Field stripping
  • Magazines
  • Disassembly of entire pistol, slide, and receiver
  • Trigger configurations
  • Sights
  • Trouble shooting/repairs

Glock will provide tools and weapons for course, and lunch will be provided.

SIG SAUER PISTOLS ARMORER CERTIFICATION

Abstract
Fully disassemble and reassemble your SIG SAUER pistol without voiding the warranty after taking this factory-authorized Armorers Course. This hands-on program focuses on the mechanical functioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and field repair of the classic SIG Sauer pistol line (P220, P226, P228, P229, P239). Step by step instruction, active participation, and Q+A periods provide the type of learning environment favorable for the retention of the material. Written and practical exams are administered to test the working knowledge of each participant.

For Law Enforcement Armorers, this course enables you to develop a maintenance program for the inspection and servicing of the SIG SAUER pistol for your department. Following successful program completion, certification / re-certification is valid for a period of three (3) years. This is of major importance to the agency as it maintains current practices and procedures for factory authorized maintenance on law enforcement pistols within the department.

SIG SAUER 556 RIFLE ARMORER CERTIFICATION

Abstract
This hands-on program teaches and guides the student step-by-step through field armorer operations of the SIG 556 Rifle. Extra time is given to the student to become thoroughly familiar with the mechanical operation of this law-enforcement carbine. Active participation in disassembly and assembly procedures coupled with question and answer periods provides the type of learning environment favorable for the retention of the material. Written and practical exams are administered to test the working knowledge of each participant. Following successful program completion, certification / re-certification to perform these procedures is valid for a period of three (3) years.
