Brownells Wins Citizenship Award For Outstanding Industry Involvement

Shooting Industry Magazine's Academy of Excellence presented their coveted Citizenship award for 2008 to Brownells, Inc. The awards ceremony was held July 26, at the Hartford (Connecticut) Gun Club.

The award was given for Brownells continuing financial support of many industry efforts - Pheasants Forever, NRA Whittington Center, NRA's Youth Shooting Program and Law Enforcement Program, 4-H Youth Shooting Program, Scholastic Clays, First Shot, Babes with Bullets, NRA Youth Scholarship and Gunsmithing Student Scholarships at all accredited 2-year gunsmithing schools, NRA/ILA's Voter Information Program, numerous stages at various shooting events and other industry projects.
