Brownells Names Buckingham to Management Position
Brownells, the leading distributor of gunsmithing tools, equipment and firearms accessories, has named Matt Buckingham to a key management position. Buckingham has joined the company as its new operations manager.
In announcing the new appointments, company President Frank Brownell said, “We’re happy to have these him assuming the management of our operations departments. Matt is an Iowa native and has a steadfast interest in firearms and the shooting sports.
Buckingham joined Brownells after having spent the past seven years in various production management, materials procurement and business process improvement positions. He returns to Iowa after his most recent assignment with Pella, as a supply chain manager in the company’s Murray, KY facility. An avid hunter and motorcyclist, Buckingham grew up in Indianola and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa, where he received a bachelor of arts degree in production and operation management.
