December WebBench - 2005
After all of the fine Holiday treats and mounds of great goodies, I’m definitely going to need to do some serious hunting to work all the extra pounds off. Beats the heck out of going to a gym any time! Had a wonderful Christmas though, it’s a lot of fun to give the grandkids “stuff.”

Welcome all to the official 2005 Holiday Season! We started with Halloween 'bout 3 weeks or so ago, and are now to Thanksgiving - here it is in it's glorious, belt-busting glory! Nothing beats spending time with family and catching up on all the latest news with everyone. With that in mind, I'm heading to Denver for a few days to spend Thanksgiving with my youngest son, Matt, and his new bride, Jodi.

Whew! What a month! Just got back from my youngest son’s wedding in Colorado. Quite a family “to do” I must say, and a heckuva lot of fun. Got my kids and grandkids and my sisters and their kids and grandkids all there. Matt certainly did himself proud…his new wife Jodi is a gem and she loves to shoot and hunt too.

I took my oldest grandson out to the range the other day. He’s ten, the young’un of my oldest son, Bob. His pappy bought him a nice little Henry lever action .22 for Christmas this past year and he has amazed both of us with his prowess shooting and his desire to learn to shoot better.

What a week! A group of us just got back from the NRA Annual Meeting and Convention in Houston. Very impressive and a heckuva lot of fun. I do enjoy seeing so many fine folks and so many truly incredible firearms and new stuff for guns. Talked with lots and lots of folks. It really looks as tho’ the state of the industry is going as strong as ever.
